You get it. You understand that trauma has impacted your life. You’ve been to therapy, you’ve been to the doctor, but the pieces of your life - health, family, goals, relationships, inner peace - still don’t seem to be going in the right direction. You’re ready to move forward.
My heart for helping people comes not from a career choice, it comes from my own journey from pain to purpose. As a young child I experienced trauma from the death of my mother, then was thrust into a foreign world with a new family, a new city, a new school... and years of psychological and emotional abuse. I never felt safe or loved in my new home. From the age of 9 until 18, I lived with undiagnosed and untreated depression. I want to help others because I know what trauma feels like.
